Jorge Andrés Villa Delsordo

Jorge Andrés Villa Delsordo is a constitutional lawyer with a career in the public sector and a proven track record in the private sector. His practice focuses on administrative and constitutional litigation against the policies and actions of regulators and administrative, legislative and judiciary authorities at the federal, state and municipal levels.
Andres worked in the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice from 2017 to 2023. Throughout his time in the Court he was law clerk and private secretary to Justice Javier Laynez Potisek. In the Supreme Court he focused on constitutional cases regarding the environment, health, education, immigration and refugees, indigenous rights, as well as regulatory cases such as the one that saw the Court constitutionally evaluate Mexico’s food labelling policies.
Additionally, Andres has an MSc in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science which gives him a complete understanding of the policy landscape.
He has also worked in the public law teams in internationally and nationally recognized firms. In that capacity, his practiced focused on cases related to the environment, energy, competition law, and financial sanctions.
